With Mark at 7pm (doors open 7:30pm) Weds 25th Sept Chelsea Town Hall, Kings Road, there will be Sacha Stone, Jacques Bauer and, Dr Marco Ruggiero.  The entrance is free and people can donate money on the door.  Mark said this is an important meeting so he can update people on the progress of his campaign, let people know the response he is getting from councils across the country to his information about the LED streetlights as well as 5G.  He also wants to share additional information about the LED lights which are being deployed in our towns and motorways.  I’ll be there.
A planning proposal to replace the existing mast on Wimbledon College, 84 Edge Hill, SW19 4NS with one twice the size and 5G enabled has been submitted. The planning application is 19/P3001 and the officer is David Gardener.  Please go here to look at the plans.  Around 100 or so objections have been submitted.  The plan is for BEMRI.org and I to discuss the issues with the local residents’ assoc. issues in due course.
A 5GinMerton supporter based in the Hammersmith Area has set up a website http://www.saynoto5g.uk/ and has produced template materials which groups can use and adapt depending on their needs.  The Hammersmith & Fulham campaign has also ordered some leaflets from a good printer on SW19/SW17 borders. If anyone wants a copy to see or even customise, please let them know by contacting them via the website http://www.saynoto5g.uk/. Their nice printer contact has even done a good ‘No to 5G’ logo for us as a hi-res JPEG in case that would be of use to anyone.  I’ve attached:
  • No to 5G graphic
  • say no to 5G leaflet
  • EH Trust info sheet
  • Leaflet produced by Electrosensitivity UK
  • A5 flyer template background for people to add text to.
I met with the Editor in Chief of Farmer’s Weekly Karl Schneider.  He’s an interesting open-minded guy.  He’s a physicist by training and used to edit computer magazines before his current role.  He was engaged when talking about the 5G issue.  I contacted him again by email earlier this month about featuring the issue of 5G and the problem for farmers it would result in.  Sent him the Precautionary Principle Doc as well and pointed him to EH Trust info about effects of EMR on plant and animal life.  He said “I’ll take a look at the information you linked to, and also pass it on to our news desk and our technology team to look at. I’m sure we’ll be covering 5G a fair bit over the coming months and it would be good to include something on the risks involved.”  Let’s see…
Could you help fund the Polish documentary makers I was interviewed by?  I mention them again because they are decent people and their heart is in the right place.  I want to encourage you to put a bit of money towards their work if you can: https://pomagam.pl/megaustawa on the top right you can select English as the language.
A tip on submitting FOIs and writing to MPs so that they are recorded and audited:  Use whatdotheyknow.com for FOIs and https://www.writetothem.com/ to send letters to reps.  The responses are audited and MPs etc know answers they give can be seen.
As you know the document https://tinyurl.com/5GInMerton-PPrinciple is available as a complete brief for concerned people so they can feel confident about the basis of their concerns.  Wimbledon Park resident’s association published a condensed version focussing on health implications http://www.wimbledonpark.com.gridhosted.co.uk/.
Will have another meeting at the Sultan Pub meeting room as before in October, will update you on the specifics soon.
Best,
Asif
