Phones still give out a signal when completely OFF – from a correspondent (UK)

Hi,

I met a friend yesterday to go walking.

He knew I was electrosensitive so had turned his phone off already.

5 mins into the walk I said that I could feel radiation from somewhere.

So he checked his phone again.  Yes it was still on even though he thought he had turned it off.

With my meter its output was 1.2 Volts/metre.

He then made a big effort to turn  it off completely.  As he did this it emitted 20 Volts/metre.

‘It is definitely off now’ and it was still giving out a variable signal peaking at 1.2 Volts/metre.

It seems like all new electrical equipment, there is an Internet of Things RF signal emitted all the time.

It looks like phones are the same.

We sat down for lunch.  I checked our situation with my meter again.  A low variable signal of 0.2 and 0.3 Volts/metre.

Then I noticed my friend’s fitbit watch.  At the surface of the watch there was a signal of 15.0 Volts/metre.

Fortunate this power fell away sharply with distance.  He offered to put both phone and watch in his car

Remember this friend has hearing aids, has recently suffered from encephalitis of the brain, and loss of some long term memory and short term memory.

Oh and he has just got an electric bike.  He is going for his fifth Covid vaccination for the over 75s and in a  couple of weeks is off to Australia to see family.

He will be lucky to go and get back alive.  I tried to educate him…….but too hard (to no avail? – Ed)
