22 APRIL 2020 12 ANTENNA INSTALLATION REFUSED IN PRIMROSE HILL
Application for 12 antennae in Primrose Hill refused.
Hill View Apartments Primrose Hill Road London NW3 3AX
Installation of 12 pole mounted antennas, 2 x 300mm dishes, 4 cabinets and ancillary works thereto at main roof level.
Application number: 2020/0989/P
Application type: GPDO Prior Approval Determination
DecisionPrior Approval Required – Approval Refused 17-04-2020
If you go into the planning application no. 2020/0989/P and look at the officers report. It says this, see below.
Here is the link to the officers report with grounds for refusal.

22 APRIL 2020 12 ANTENNA INSTALLATION GIVEN THE GREEN LIGHT IN PORTSMOUTH
The pace of Installations are unaffected by the CV-19 lockdown. However the ability of public scrutiny is hampered. Councillors asked for the installation of the antennae to be discussed in committee by a group of constituents but there wasn’t time. See letter here
If public bodies have to make decisions in a limited time-frame which then excludes time for public scrutiny by those they are supposed to represent then the system is not working for both parties. It only operates in a way that benefits corporate business interest.
INSTALLATION OF 4G LTE TRANSMITTERS NEAR HOMES IN MERTON
The following are the locations where “small cell” wireless telecoms infrastructure has been installed:
Arthur Road, Wimbledon Park – on LC 038
Arthur Road, Wimbledon Park – on LC 041
Arthur Road, Wimbledon Park – on LC 044
Havelock Road, Wimbledon – on LC 003 SEE PICTURE
Church Road, Wimbledon – on LC 018
Plough Lane, Wimbledon – on LC 014
London Road, Mitcham – on LC 004
Requests have been received from Arqiva for the following as possible locations for future deployment of “small cell” equipment:
Connaught Gardens, Morden – LC 001
Central Road, Morden – LC 010
Kingston Road, Wimbledon / Raynes Park – LCs 050, 069 & 080
The Broadway, Wimbledon – LCs 006, 010 & 015
Hartfield Road, Wimbledon – LC 026
Wimbledon Hill Road, Wimbledon – LCs 004 & 011
Haydons Road, South Wimbledon – LCs 036 & 043
Rowan Road, Streatham – LC 001
Here is an example people simply not being asked about the installation of transmitters on their streets. The only stakeholders involved are local councils who agree to rent public infrastructure use (pushed by central government rules) and international corporations.
This is how it goes: O2 decides where it needs to boost coverage. They use Nokia (currently) which supply them with relatively cheap, easy to install hardware to do this. Arqiva with their agreements with councils install the transmitters on our poles on our streets. People wake up to see strange square boxes attached to poles.
This is Arqiva’s position on safety. They link to a BBC video on safety of transmitters. Many issues come to mind, I’ll leave you to think about it for yourself. I’ve made comments on the video on YouTube

Dear XXX,
Thank you for your email to the National Toxicology Program (NTP) inquiring about funding for the Cell Phone Radio Frequency Radiation study and if 5G tests have been conducted on humans.
The National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences, a member of the NTP partnership, funded the cell phone studies. NTP does not plan to conduct 5G studies in human populations. A brief description of NTP’s future studies on cell phone radiofrequency radiation is available on its website.
Please contact the NTP Web Team with any additional questions or concerns.

Background on the National Toxicology Program (NTP)
NTP is a federal, interagency program headquartered at National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences, which is part of the National Institutes of Health. NTP’s goal is to safeguard the public through research, testing, and analysis to identify substances in the environment that may affect human health.
12TH APRIL 2020 CITY OF LINCOLN COUNCIL HAS BEGUN INSTALLING A MMW WIRELESS SMART CITY SURVEILLANCE NETWORK.
Our towns and cities seem to be in a rush to be twinned with dystopia. The 60 GHz frequency which has the effect of oxygen absorption is being used for CCTV and public access WiFi backhaul. The company being used for this is called Siklu and they say using 65-66 GHz will avoid this effect. Here’s the press release.
4TH APRIL 2020 NIGERIA RESEARCHING SAFETY OF 5G BEFORE DEPLOYMENT. SLOVENIA USES THE PRECAUTIONARY PRINCIPLE TO HALT 5G ROLL OUT.
Nigerian Government responds to concerns of its citizens. Read the statement.
The Republic of Slovenia has stopped the assignment of the 5G frequency spectrum. Minister of Public Administration Rudy Medved, has opted for the adoption of the precautionary principle : “I am aware that we will not find a definitive answer, since there has not been one globally. 5G technology has not been established in practice to the extent that studies could produce results by which we could conclusively say that 5G is completely harmless.”
20TH MARCH 2020 UPDATED ICNIRP GUIDELINES RELEASED
Eric van Rongen, the chairman of ICNIRP: “We know parts of the community are concerned about the safety of 5G and we hope the updated guidelines will help put people at ease.” Van Rongen is with the Health Council of the Netherlands. In 2019 he stated: “It [5G] is not set up as a public health experiment but of course you can consider it as such. It will be necessary to gain more information about the exposure and any health problems that might come from an effect of that exposure.”
Updated guidelines can be found here: https://microwavenews.com/short-takes-archive/icnirp-rf-guidelines-2020
The ICNIRP say the 1998 guidelines are fit for purpose but they have been updated for 5G exposures.
The update as they relate to 5G are for frequencies above 6GHz:
-The addition of a restriction for whole body exposure
– The addition of a restriction of < 6 minute exposure to small regions of the body
-The restriction of the maximum exposure permitted over a small region of the body
It is essentially the same document as 1998 because the guidelines contain the same fundamental flaws:
- It only considers tissue heating as evidence of as absorption of EMF power which would impact health
- It considers harm as a function of dose. Many papers show this is not the case when it comes to harm to the blood brain barrier where it is affected by specific windows of dose
- Says cell membrane permeability is only affected at v high levels of exposure far above that which causes tissue heating. This is where Professor Martin Pall takes issue with ICNIRP
- Discounts 2 major studies of our time. The NTP study and the Ramazzini Institute Study “the statistical methods employed were not sufficient to differentiate between radiofrequency-related and chance differences between treatment conditions; interpretation of the data is difficult due to the high body core temperature changes that resulted from the very high exposure levels used; and no consistency was seen across these two studies. Thus, when considered either in isolation (e.g., ICNIRP 2019) or within the context of other animal and human carcinogenicity research (HCN 2014, 2016), their findings do not provide evidence that radiofrequency EMFs are carcinogenic.” Those who led the studies have issued rebuttals which can be read here. The NTP study is probably the most rigorous and peer-reviewed study of its kind to date.
- It omits major areas of health impact and makes a curious distinction between biological and an adverse health effect. “It is important to note that ICNIRP bases its guidelines on substantiated adverse health effects. This makes the difference between a biological and an adverse health effect an important distinction, where only adverse health effects require restrictions for the protection of humans. Research on the health effects of radiofrequency EMFs has tended to concentrate on a few areas of particular interest and concern, with some other areas receiving little or no attention. There is not sufficient research addressing potential relations between radiofrequency EMFs and the skeletal, muscular, respiratory, digestive, and excretory systems, and so these are not considered further.”
CLAIMANT SUCCESSFULLY WINS APPEAL FOR UNIVERSAL CREDIT ON THE GROUNDS OF ELECTROHYPERSENSITIVITY
The Appeal was held in January 2020. She submitted widely collated medical evidence and had the support of her GP and Neurologist. Electrohypersensitivity occurs when a person is sensitised to electromagnetic fields, radio and microwave signals from sources such as mobile phones, WIFI and Telecommunication Masts. Proximity, duration, and frequency being key factors of exposure risk. Claimant lived in a second-floor flat in London where she encountered a myriad of signals from a multitude of directions, as well as vertically, up through her feet. She states the collective exposure weakened her receptor and vascular resistance which sent her health spiralling downwards. It became necessary for her to relocate to accommodation in a rural setting for there to be any hope of recovery.
The claimant is supported by the Charity Electrosensitivity UK (ES-UK) who supports all people who have been sensitised by electromagnetic fields and radiation.
SURVEILLANCE ON UK COUNCIL WEBSITES
Quick Facts:
- Nearly all councils in the UK permit at least one company to learn about the behaviour of people visiting their websites. Tweet this
- People seeking information about disability, poverty, drugs and alcoholism services are profiled by data brokers on some council websites. Tweet this
- 198 council websites in the UK use the “real-time bidding” (RTB) form of advertising. Real-time bidding is the biggest data breach ever recorded in the UK. Though illegality is not in dispute, the UK Information Commissioner (ICO) has failed to act. Tweet this
- Google owns all five of the top embedded elements loaded by UK council websites, giving it the power to know what virtually anyone in the UK views on council sites. Tweet this
- Over of a quarter of the UK population is served by councils that embed Twitter, Facebook, and others on their websites, leaking data about what sensitive issues people read about to these companies. Tweet this
- 6.9 million people are served by councils that allow data broker LiveRamp to track people on their sites. Until recently, LiveRamp was part of the Acxiom Group, which sold data to Cambridge Analytica. Tweet this
- None of the data collecting companies recorded in this study had received consent from the website visitor to lawfully process data. Tweet this
- This report should spur Elizabeth Denham, the UK Information Commissioner, to finally enforce the GDPR. It is 17 months since formal evidence from Brave and complaints about breaches of data protection laws were filed before the ICO. Tweet this
- Use the Data Leaks Explorer tool to check the council in your local area.
TURIN COURT OF APPEAL CONFIRMS HEAD CANCER CAUSED BY MOBILE PHONE
Court in Italy judged in 2017 that an employee’s acoustic neurinoma was caused by use of mobile phone as part of his work. In December 2019, in The Turin Court of Appeal, The employer INAIL appealed the 2017 judgement. The appeal court upheld the initial judgement. It’s worth reading this professionally translated verdict. It has huge implications, it shows how the court recognised clear conflicts of interest in bodies which are setting our safeguards and gives you a flavour of the rigour in arriving at the verdict.
27TH FEBRUARY 2020 LETTER FROM MP FOR BATH TO MINISTER FOR DIGITAL AND CULTURE
I commend Wera Hobhouse MP for this letter about 5G and government liability for damage to health and the curtailing of the democratic responsibility. It covers
- the prevention of public and local authorities to object to infrastructure roll-out
- the exclusive use of ICNIRP guidelines basis of determining its safety
- its uninsurability in terms of health and privacy
- the exemption PHE from all liability in the event of future legal action relating to adverse health effects resulting from following their guidance
- the impossible position of the public and their local authorities. PHE’s solicitors: “if it be alleged that a public body now or in the future acted unlawfully in placing reliance on the (PHE) guidance, that cannot retrospectively taint the guidance with illegality.” However Planning regulations mean public bodies are forced to stick to PHE/ICNIRP guidelines as infrastructure is rolled out, therefore accepting a potentially catastrophic risk for which they could be liable.

LED Smart Streetlights
Privacy and security are paramount Cities will also have new responsibilities to protect the privacy and data security of their citizens. They are already building this capability as they must prevent personally identifiable information (PII) from being released through open data programs. But with the rapid growth of IoT sensors on streetlights, video analytics and other new capabilities, the odds increase dramatically of accidental privacy violations. Cyber and data security must be a key focus for cities in the years ahead.
In addition to smart street lighting, Telensa provides multi-sensor pods mounted on streetlights for a variety of smart city applications, including the monitoring of traffic, air quality, pedestrians and others. It also recently partnered with the vendor FarSite for smart waste bin management. The company has recently doubled its number of personnel and is expecting further growth in these markets. In total, Telensa has deployed over 9 million sensors across 30 countries ranging from the UK and US to Russia, China, and Brazil. Most recently, Telensa announced its “Urban Data Project” in partnership with Microsoft Azure, Qualcomm, Kainos and others. The Urban Data Project collects, protects and applies data to help improve city living. Data from streetlight sensors is secured in a “City Data Guardian” in the cloud with safeguards on data privacy and usage. With full transparency, cities can then decide how best to leverage the data to improve city services and also pursue new revenue streams.
