And for mind to be extraordinarily  quiet, still,  is something, even in this shut-down period, that eludes most of humanity at the moment – because thought and time is a constant distraction of mind isn’t it.

So people want to save the world. To do something to save it.

Of course we have to act rightly in the world but part of mind should have nothing to do with the world and all its becomings in time should it ?

That is hard for mind to see. But when you sit down quietly to listen to mind you see very ,very clearly mind is controlled by thought and all its stream of continuity – which is not separate from the world of becomings

But in listening there comes space – and in that space there is silence and not the noises of the world and its thoughts

Part of mind should be outside time altogether shouldn’t  it – the other river in the mind of 2 rivers

Silence and its order will one day be the discovery of all truthful  human mind  – sooner or later, because that is the necessity of truth. Otherwise illusion takes over mind .

Or when mind sees “ it is all in the ripeness and the rest is silence” W Shakespeare
